Our gemstones originate from Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, a region globally renowned for its rich deposits of high-quality gemstones, including Blue and Yellow Sapphires, Padparadscha, and Chrysoberyls. With a long-standing tradition in gemstone mining, Ratnapura remains a center for responsible extraction, where sustainable mining practices ensure minimal environmental impact.
We work closely with trusted partners who have been sourcing gemstones since the 1980s. Initially, the process relied on traditional manual washing and careful hand selection. Over time, operations have been optimized, and since 2021, a gravel wash plant has been introduced to improve precision and processing efficiency. Today, sourcing takes place in three key mining locations known for their steady supply of high-quality gemstones, with access to an additional three partner locations for expanded sourcing.
Certifications and Our Commitment to RJC
As a young and forward-thinking company, we are actively working towards obtaining certification from the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). The RJC sets globally recognized standards for ethical sourcing, social responsibility, and environmental management in the jewelry and gemstone industry.
We have already begun the certification process and are dedicated to completing the necessary assessments and audits within the next two years. Our commitment to full RJC compliance is a key part of our sustainability strategy, ensuring that our customers receive ethically sourced gemstones of the highest quality.

Our partnerships are based on long-term collaboration with licensed mine operators in Sri Lanka. Mining in Ratnapura follows a community-driven model, where profits are fairly distributed among all stakeholders, including miners, license holders, and landowners.
